Aerial Surveys may be in your region this season
Monday, September 28th, 2015
Aerial Surveys has a busy program this season as we will be capturing imagery over the whole of Northland , Horizons and the West Coast regions. This is a great opportunity to acquire that imagery you have been looking for as we are in the area. We can capture high resolution imagery for larger areas as well as very high resolution for specific sites if interest.
We can offer very competitive rates and it would be an ideal time for those larger agricultural areas to be captured for high accuracy ortho imagery now becoming essential for managing farming activity and the environment. Our cameras also capture in NIR simultaneously with RGB which provides another valuable option for analysis of vegetation health and other factors not visible to the human eye.

Aerial Surveys will be attending the Foresttech 2015 conference in Rotorua on 18th November where we will be joined by our partner in hyperspectral surveys, Massey University, to showcase this exciting technology.
Aerial Surveys and Massey University have joined forces to offer airborne hyperspectral services in New Zealand. This is the first and only full hyperspectral service in NZ and offers an exciting new technology that has yet to be fully exploited.
The current focus has been in the agricultural sector however this technology is well suited to helping manage many other environments and issues such as biosecurity, vegetation mapping and species identification, vegetation and forestry health, water quality etc.
To find out more about what this technology can achieve give us a call on 09 4153101 for send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org

Aerial Surveys Attends Optech’s User Conference in Toronto
Thursday, July 2nd, 2015
Aerial Surveys recently attended the Optech ILSC User conference in Toronto, Canada and gave a presentation on our experiences with LiDAR from inception to the successful implementation of the Orion H300. This also gave us the opportunity to gain a lot more technical knowledge on the latest advancements being created by Optech on both hardware and software fronts. The team at Optech was fantastic and it was a week well worth investing in. We can only urge other users to make the effort to attend these conferences as we met a number of other users and were able to share and discuss technical issues we have in a non competitive environment for the benefit of all.
