Aerial Surveys in partnership with AAM (formerly AAMHatch) were successful in winning the Auckland Local Government Geospatial Information Group (ALGGi) LiDAR and ortho imagery program for 2010. The project involves a combination of Vexcel UltraCam and Pictometry cameras to produce ortho imagery as well as oblique imagery over a significant portion of the urban area.
Aerial Surveys in partnership with AAM (formerly AAMHatch) were successful in winning the Auckland Local Government Geospatial Information Group (ALGGi) LiDAR and ortho imagery program for 2010. The program includes the use of Pictometry to produce ortho imagery (0.125m GSD) as well as oblique imagery over a significant portion of the urban area as well as the use of Aerial Survey’s new Vexcel UltraCam digital camera. Acquisition commenced in January 2010. This project is effectively covers most of the urban areas of the new Auckland Super City as part of an ongoing geospatial strategy.
